Die Klamurke Belletristik

In the evening

A day that nearly wasn’t
Glides into gloomy waters.
It came while it was morning;
And left me empty handed,
because I gave it nought...

The day draws near its close;
I sit around saying nothing:
What did it bring for me?

It gave me nothing, nothing.
And from it I took nothing,
Because I gave it nought...
