Eskimo Song

Outside it’s so frigid!
My fingers are freezing;
The Arctic’s congealed under ice.
Oh why is our life
Unspeakably tedious?
An Eskimo’s life isn’t easy...

Refrain:
The polar bear stole from
Us five sheaves of salmon
And gobbled up poor old Aunt Paula...

The winds, they waft icy,
the cod-oil is rancid...
And Tbilisi’s sky’s clear and warm!!!
Oh why wasn’t I
In Tbilisi born?
An Eskimo’s life isn’t easy...

Refrain:
The polar bear stole from
Us five sheaves of salmon
And gobbled up poor old Aunt Paula...
